In my rolled-up corduroys, in a sea of spandex, I think I stood out. My clothes flapping all around me, I was not streamlined nor aerodynamic. I was a neophyte, just a girl huffing and puffing and hoping not to die.

But you made it around the island and back without dying. Pretty impressive by any standard. Especially since you haven't ridden that bike in more than 2 years.
Also makes me feel good that you rode the bike after I took it to the shop for a tune up. Now if only I had pictures of you riding.....
I live in the Pacific Northwest. I like fashion, writing, and photography, and I'm always sifting through the past and thinking about the nature of memory. For these reasons, I keep a blog to record the more transient moments of my interests.
