I have a few items bookmarked (mentally) for the A.P.C. sale. I'm thinking that with this recession, the store will again have an early markdown for their Spring collection, just as they did with their Fall collection. So despite the fact that A.P.C. often sells out early, I'm going to wait for these things.
Plus a few items I can't find an image of: the Hamilton dress, the Hamilton top, the Web belt, and the Pocket Skirt. But only if they are marked down. Without a discount, it's only the striped top and the russian dress (above, in the middle) that I really, really want.

hi, just found your site. I think the dress on hejfina.com that is called the "liquette dress" is exactly the same as the Russian dress on the apc website.
Hejfina has a few new apc items in and that dress is one of them. it is only 136 compared to 240 on apc.fr - unless I am missing something? I have noticed that hejfina usually offers their apc non-sale stuff about 10% less than apc.fr does, but this difference is way more than that. Anyway, you may want to check it out.

I can't see any differences between the dresses - i wonder if hejfina made an error when posting it?
Okay, I'll let you know. It does seem the same, with the same kind of collar. But the difference in price is pretty extreme.
Usually the only dresses that would start that low is the APC Madras ones. Perhaps it's a similar Madras version?
Or else Hejfina has decided to price the item really low because of demand. I did notice that this winter, APC did a 30% sale on their website before the 50% end of season clearance (with most items still available in all sizes). That was the first time I'd noticed that in the three or so years that I've been obsessed with APC.

hi again, I have been obsessed with apc for the past 6 months or so (just found out about them) and have been checking every website i know that sells them every day or every other day (trying to catch-up somehow I guess). I know that hejfina only posted spring 2009 apc stuff a few days ago (1 week or more after apc.fr did)and that they have not discounted any of it yet. If it is in fact the same dress, I would guess they made a mistake in the listing price. I have not seen hide nor hair of any new 2009 madras on any fashion blog, etc... so I don't think the dress on hejfina is madras. on a side - totokaelo.com had the marine striped shirt (the one you show on your blog) that was priced at $72 at first and then went to $80 a few days later - I know that is not such a big difference but made me think that the retailers sometimes make mistakes in how they price things at first.
